PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system that transmits and records three-dimensional information with less data amount. SOLUTION: In the three-dimensional information transmission method, a corresponding point information generating means 103 generates corresponding point information 111 between two viewpoints of a camera and a projector by using image data obtained by photographing a pattern projected by a projector 101 with the camera 100, transmits and records photographing information 112 consisting of the information 111 and photographing information 112 consisting of information of viewpoint positions measured in advance and a camera parameter and the means 103 calculates three-dimensional information by using the corresponding point information and the photographing information outputted from a reception means 106 in the case of obtaining the three- dimensional information. Thus, a set of the corresponding point information and the photographing information is effective for transmission and recording because the data amount of the set is less than that of the three-dimensional information.
