PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material adapted to a direct formation of a thermal image having a high dynamic range and a wide latitude by recording a gray of large number of gradations or level. SOLUTION: The thermographic image forming element comprises a support, and an image forming layer containing an oxidizer, a first reducing agent having a high activity of less than 10 Joule/cm<2> of an activation energy, a second reducing agent having a low activity of 10 Joule/cm<2> or more of the energy and a third reducing agent containing a boron compound having at least one boron hydrogen bond. |
