PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the radio selective call receiver with a display device that places priorities depending on the type of information, setting a stored information number for each information type, dividing old/new received information by a date and deleting old information with priority to store or delete information with higher priority according to specific conditions. SOLUTION: A date setting section 41 sets a data to decide new/old received information freely through the operation of a switch section 13. A priority setting section 42 sets the priorities of the received information, based on an information class included in a call number. A storage number setting section 43 sets the storage information number of the received information number, based on an information type included in the call number, while a sum of the received information number is within a permissible capacity of a RAM section 10. An information deletion section 44 deletes received information based on the information set by the date setting section 41, the priority setting section 42 and the storage number setting section 43, when newest information is received. As a result, the information confirmed is always new, and an operating convenience is improved.
