PURPOSE:To perform the control of a coating thickness of the surface of a tooth part with high accuracy, by moving a blade having the same shape as one cut plane of each of the tooth grooves of a rotor in matching relation to a lead to apply a coating material. CONSTITUTION:A blade 6 having the same shape as one cut plane of each tooth groove part is allowed to enter each of the tooth groove parts of the tooth parts 2 of a rotor 1 and moved in matching relation to the twist lead of the rotor 1. At this time, when a coating material is simultaneously supplied to the surface of the blade 6 to coat the surface of each rotor tooth part 2 with the coating material, the coating material is uniformly adhered to the surface of each rotor tooth part 2 along the blade 6 because the material has a certain level of viscosity. A coating thickness is controlled on the basis of the supply amount of the material or the moving speed of the blade 6. |
