PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for improving water resistance of printed images, capable of keeping water resistance regardless of the kind of a material to be recorded such as paper or film and ingredients compounded into ink, further preferably having high clarity of printed images in addition to maintaining of water resistance and hardly causing clogging. SOLUTION: This improving agent comprises a polyethyleneimine derivative obtained by adding at least one kind of compound selected from the group comprising an amide-based monomer, a tertiary amine-based monomer, a 3-30C alkylating agent, a carboxylic acid-based monomer and an alkylene carbonate to an amino group of a polyethyleneimine and/or an aminoethylated material obtained by adding ethyleneimine to a carboxylic acid-based polymer. |
