The proposed powder fire-extinguishing agent intended particularly for fire-extinguishers and devices contains 35 to 95 percent by weight aluminosilicates and 0.1 to 10 percent by weight hydrophobizing admixtures, whereby optionally the balance up to 100 percent by weight is formed by phosphates, hydrocarbonates or sulfates or a mixture thereof and/or anticatalytic admixtures.
