PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting-and-driving device which makes a remarkable improvement in the entry of binding wire into twisting disks and operates without inconvenience even if soil builds up unavoidably after a relatively long operating time. SOLUTION: In the binding station of a wastes-baling press, gears 2 supporting twisting disks 1 and 1a provided with slits have arms 2a extending outward in the shape of a star. Onto the free end 2 of each of the arms, a roller 3a supported freely rotatably around a perpendicular axis 3 is attached. Further, a nearly each star-shaped wheel 2, a drive gear 4, having in its periphery arc-shaped recessed parts 4a which correspond in number and shape with the rollers 3a is provided and, as a system driving device, a common thrust crank 5 is used. |
