PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a combined filament yarn having large difference in heat shrinkage by combined filament yarn system of spinning yarn and capable of overcoming restraint of woven fabric and obtaining difference of yarn length. SOLUTION: This combined filament yarn having difference of polyester shrinkage comprises a low heat-shrinkage polyester filament group A and a high heat-shrinkage polyester filament group B. In the combined filament yarn, the high heat-shrinkage polyester filament group B contains 0.5-10 wt.% incompatible polymer and hot water shrinkage factorωSrA andωSrB each satisfy the formula I:ωSrA<=5.0 and formula II:ωSrB-ωSrA >=15. At least one kind of polymer selected from polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene and acryl-styrene polymer is preferable as the incompatible polymer. This method for producing the combined filament yarn comprises melt-spinning the low heat-shrinkage polyester filament A group and the high heat-shrinkage polyester filament B group from same spinneret and taking off the resultant spun yarn at a rate of >=6,000 m/min.
