PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side light-source back light device in which decrease of luminance is prevented and optical loss in small, by reducing the decrease of the optical loss of the light radiated from the opposite side to a light-guide board of a light source as much as possible. SOLUTION: In this side light-source back light device, which is equipped with a light-guide board 3, a reflective board 4 arranged along the lower surface of the light-guide board 3, a light source 1 and a reflector 2, whose opening is faced to the side of the light-guide board 3 and by which the light from the light source 1 is made to enter the side 3b of the light-guide board 3, a convex reflective face 2a, having a convex part on the side light source 1, is installed on a closed part 2d positioned on the opposite side to the light-guide board 3 of the reflector 2. |
