The invention relates to novel substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines of formula (I) in which n represents 0, 1 or 2, R<1> represents H or C1-C6-alkyl for example, R<2> represents H, formyl, C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-alkyl carbonyl or C1-C6-alkoxy carbonyl for example, R<3> represents C1-C6-alkyl or C3-C6-cycloalkyl for example, R<4> represents H or C1-C4-alkyl for example, Ar represents phenyl, naphthyl or heterocyclyl for example and Z represents H, C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-alkyl carbonyl, C1-C6 alkoxycarbonyl, C2-C6-alkenyl, C2-C6-alkinyl or C3-C6-cycloalkyl.
