Automobile body with electrical auxiliaries separated from engine compartment

The automobile body has a bulkhead separating the engine compartment from the passenger space (11) and a partition wall infront of the bulkhead, for providing a separate space for the electrical auxiliaries at the rear of the engine compartment, with left and right longitudinal side supports (23,24) with an upwards facing flange (25) having a sealing strip (28) cooperating with the hood (19). The electrical auxiliaries space communicates with the passenger space via a fresh air opening in the bulkhead.
