PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce frictional heat being generated on the surface of a recording material of a recorder. SOLUTION: When a recording material 10 has such surface characteristics as the backward contact angle decreases upon touching liquid under heated state and increases upon being heated without touching liquid, friction heat generated on the surface of the recording material 10 is absorbed and dispersed by employing a high thermal capacity material (including thin film and layer thereof) in the recording material 10 and an intermediate transfer body 11 thus suppressing storage of heat in the recording material 10. Furthermore, irregularities are formed on the surface of the high thermal capacity material in order to accelerate absorption and dispersion of heat and cooling is performed additionally by a cooling mechanism 30. |
