PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording medium of forming images having superior antiabriasion and solvent resistance, capable of forming images, and suffering from no falling of ink. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer recording medium includes an intermediate adhesive layer, a thermal transfer coloring layer containing 70 wt.% polyolefin wax having a melting point of 120 deg.C or higher, and a colorant each laminated in this order. In this case, the penetration of polyolefin wax of the coloring ink layer is 5 or lower, and the intermediate adhesive layer consists of 20-80 wt.% polyester resin having a glass transition point of 20 deg.C or lower and 80-20 wt.% organic or nonorganic particle matter. |
