PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquatic plant rooting structure that can simply increase the rooting percentage of aquatic plants regardless of the water depth and the flow rate. SOLUTION: A plant holder 3 made of a bundle of withered and almost straight plant stems 5 is fixed in the water 2 and the plant seedlings 4b are supported so that they may grow from the plant holder 3 over the water surface. Thus, the plant seedlings can be held (fixed) at any prescribed site in water regardless of the water depth and the water flow rate. In addition, the flow rate of the water flowing in the plant holder is largely reduced by a plurality of withered plant stems 5 thereby permitting the easy absorption of nutrient salts such as phosphorus or the like in the water through the roots 4a of the plant seedlings 4b. |
