<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably keep sealing ability, such as watertightness, by utilizing the characteristics of a resin out of which a resin pipe is formed and besides to suppress or prevent the occurrence of push-up in the radially internal direction of a pipe end and sagging in a radially internal direction of a pipe end following heat deformation. SOLUTION: A seal surface 16 against which a pipe end 91 is collided is formed on a coupling body 1 made of a metal having a cylinder part in which the pipe end 91 of a resin pipe 9 consisting of a polybuttene pipe and a polyethylene pipe. The seal surface 16 is provided on the inner peripheral part with an annular protrusion part 17 superposed on the inner peripheral surface of the pipe end 91 and has a plurality of biting protrusions 18a, 18b, and 18c.
