PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new dental repairing material having X ray contrast property and translucency similar to that of natural tooth and a hue which does not depend on thickness and excellent in esthetic property without using a monomer having benzene ring having a fear of environmental hormone action. SOLUTION: This dental repairing material is constituted of an amorphous inorganic material having 1.470-1.520 refractive index in sodium D ray and X ray contrast property, a (meth)acrylate monomer not having benzene ring in the molecule, a polymerization initiator and further, as necessary, an amorphous inorganic material having refractive index equivalent to or smaller than that of sodium D ray in a polymer of the (meth)acrylate monomer.
