<p>A disk apparatus comprising a switch (169) for detecting the position of a movable base (13). The switch is adapted to change its states from ON to OFF after a clamp (16) leaves a turntable (20) when the movable base retreats. A motor is controlled as follows (190, 191, S12-S20): after the switch is turned off, a motor (91) is driven for a first period of time so that the movable base may continue retreating; after the first period of time passes, the motor is driven on inverse voltage for a second period of time; after the second period of time, the motor is kept at rest for a third period of time; and after the third period of time, the motor is driven to move a tray toward the position of ejection.</p> |
