PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject antibody useful for treating and preventing diseases, etc., by immunizing a mouse with BR55-2/mouse 1gG3-F(ab')2 -KLH conjugant, fusing the splenic cell of the immunized mouse to a myeloma cell, and subsequently purifying the antibody from the obtained hybridoma. SOLUTION: This monoclonal mouse internal image anti-idiotype antibody against monoclonal antibody BR55-2 is obtained by immunizing a mouse with a BR55-2/mouse IgG3-F(ab')2 -KLH (keyhole limpet hemocyanin)-conjugant, fusing the splenic cell of the mouse to a mouse myeloma cell series SP2/0, selecting a cultured hybridoma cell producing IgG having an inhibiting ability of >=95% (inhibiting the bonding of BR55-2 mouse IgG 2a to a SKBR5 cell system) and subsequently purifying and isolating the anti-idiotype antibody. The antibody is useful for pharmaceutical compositions for immunizing cancers originating from epithelia and small cell lung cancer, for pharmaceuticals for treating and preventing diseases infected with HIV, etc. |
