PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing and decoloring agent capable of deodorizing and decoloring a surfactant with a convenient operation using a simple apparatus is a short time at a low cost without elution of a harmful material into the surfactant. SOLUTION: Activated carbon is aggregated and combined by a collagen treatment to obtain the objective collagen treated activated carbon sued for decoloring and deodorizing a surfactant. As a method for deodorizing and decolorizing the surfactant, the surfactant is brought into contact with the collagen treated activated carbon. The surfactant is desirably a cationic surfactant, an anionic surfactant or a mixture of one, two or more kinds selected from an amphoteric surfactant and a nonionic surfactant. |
