PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a postal code/address conversion system which can convert a postal code that is inputted by means of a key into its corresponding address and can easily input the address. SOLUTION: A postal code/address conversion table is prepared to store the postal codes and their corresponding addresses together with a conversion means which converts the postal codes into the addresses. The conversion means is connected to an automatic transaction system. Every automatic transaction device 50 includes an extraction means which retrieves the postal code/address conversion table to extract the address information based on the postal code that is inputted by means of a key, a conversion information reading means which reads the postal code/address conversion information out of an external storage and sends it to the conversion table, and a means which additionally updates the conversion table. |
