<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly stop the flow of fluid and to reduce an injection quantity of refrigerant by freezing the fluid inside a fluid flowing pipe by means of the refrigerant. SOLUTION: In a refrigerant storage container 3, a fluid flowing pipe 2 is arranged with its center line (b) eccentrically deflected from the center line (a) of the container 3 by an eccentric length (d) downward. In this way, the pipe 2 is dipped in refrigerant quicker than conventional one, and an injection quantity of the refrigerant less than a half of the volume of the container 3 is enough for freezing, so that the refrigerant injection quantity can be reduced as against that for a conventional one. A refrigerant spray pipe 6 is installed in the tip part of a refrigerant injection nozzle 4 injecting the refrigerant into the container 3, and the refrigerant is sprayed in the shower form from the refrigerant spray pipe 6 toward the pipe 2 so as to directly cool it down, so that the fluid inside the pipe 2 can be quickly and surely frozen over a wide range.</p> |
