PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure highly reliable data transmission, at the occurrence of an error in an outgoing channel in a stellite incternet system. SOLUTION: Each of satellite reception installations 4A, 4B is provided with an error rate monitor means 41a that monitors the error rate of each satellite channel 2 and generates a request of switching an outgoing satellite channel 2 into an outgoing ground channel 6, when the error rate exceeds a prescribed value and generates a request for restoring an outgoing ground channel 6 into the outgoing satellite channel 2, when a prescribed condition is established after switching. A router 31a of a satellite transmission installation 3 selects the outgoing ground channel 6 or the outgoing satellite channel 2, depending on the request of the error rate monitor means 41a. |
