PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system which can supply various useful information without changing the application software of an operator terminal equipment. SOLUTION: The customer terminal 3 of the POS system is connected to an operator terminal 2 and a storage server 5 through a computer network 4. A data acquirement part 71 that can acquire transaction data ϕ2 containing article number information and quantity information, which is transmitted from the operator terminal 2, and a data display part 72 which forms display data ϕ6 based on transaction data ϕ2 and that can output it to a display 51 are provided. The new POS system which can supply various useful information can be provided without changing the application software of the operator terminal 2.
