PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which has overcome the defect, and can be manufactured at a lower manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A charging device 40 to load a bar stock 27 not processed, to a bench 22 from a hopper 24; and an advance device to advance the bar stock 27 in a lathe; are included. The advance device includes a short advance module 90 having a banner form part; and a long advance module 70 having a thruster; and the bar stock charging device 40 includes a device to cooperate in the form to avoid some shock applied to some members of a bar stock magazine feed mechanism, especially to the bench 22 and the hopper 24, by the bar stock 27, in the bar stock charging operation. |
