PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the open-close device of a back door for an automobile capable of conducting smooth open-close operation by manual operation at the time of electrical failure. SOLUTION: When a back door is closed and operated by manual operation, a wire 30 is apt to be loosened between a winding mechanism 40 and a tension mechanism 60, but a loosened section is delivered to the tension mechanism, the wire 30 is not loosened, and door closing operation by manual operation can be conducted smoothly. When the door is opened and operated by manual operation, on the other hand, the wire 30 is delivered from the tension mechanism 60, the wire 30 is brought to a state, in which the wire 30 is stretched properly between the winding mechanism 40 and the tension mechanism 60, and the door opening operation can also be manually performed smoothly. |
