<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently remove a tip by providing a reaming tool for subjecting an osteotube to reamer finishing with screw thread-like spirals over at least part of the length of its shank. SOLUTION: The reaming tool 10 has a drill head 12 disposed at its one end and is provided with the flexible shank 14 via a removable connecting part at this drill head 12. Namely, the tool is so formed as to allow the connection of the drill heads 12 of different diameters to the shank 14. A cylindrical clamp part 16 for connection to the chuck of a rotating tool, electric motor or pneumatic motor is mounted at the free end of the shank 14. In such a case, the helical spirals 18 having grooves of a suitable depth are formed over approximately the entire length of the shank 14. As a result, even if the outside diameter of the shank 14 is smaller than the diameter of the drill head 12, the tip transported backward from the drill head 12 may be smoothly transported backward by the spirals 18 of the shank 14.</p> |
