PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent collision between carrying rollers on the movable side and a recording head. SOLUTION: A recording head 22 forms an image onto a recording paper while reciprocating in specific directions, and pairs of rollers 2, 30, 40, (14), and 76 nip and carry the recording paper across the specific directions. By turning a lever 80 in a specific turning direction, the pairs of rollers 2, 30, 40, (14), and (76) are separated from each other. When the recording head 22 moves to a home position, an arm swings a shaft by the pressing force of a lock release member 21, a shaft body 106 moves against the springing force of a coil spring, and one end of the shaft body 106 disengages from the lock hole 110 of the lever 80, so that the lever 80 is unlocked. Also, a projection 79 disengages from a rail member 78, and a locking force for inhibiting the swing of a mounting plate 72 is released. When the recording head 22 is situated in an image forming area, the one end of the shaft body 106 is inserted in the lock hole 110 of the lever 80, so that the lever 80 is locked. |
