The two-part sleeping couch consists of a base (5) and a swivelling part (6) which can be moved to a vertical position. The swivelling part is roughly U-shaped and fits around the front (8) and two sides (9) of the base. The swivelling part, when raised against the back wall of the cab, forms a bow acting as a back rest for an extra seat. The base rests on storage boxes (2) and a component such as a coffee maker (11) can be installed in front of the folded-down section.
