The clamp comprises a main housing (1) with a traction rod (5) operating its pivoted arms (2) with jaws (21), which interact with pullers (10a,10b) via truncated ball couplings (18). Each puller is mounted coaxially on the outside of a locking ring (9) moved by a traction rod (5), and the transmission mechanism between the rod and pullers incorporates compensating and locking elements (11,13,14). The compensating component comprises a guide (11) lying coaxially with the traction rod and located inside the locking ring, a disc (13) and a wedge (14) which interacts with an oblique face on the disc. |
