PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of abnormal noise between an instrument panel and a cover member. SOLUTION: An air bag 6 expanded through an opening part 7 formed in the approximately vertical part 2A of an instrument panel 2 is contained in a reaction can 8 disposed in the instrument panel 1 and a cover member 9 is mounted such that it is dislocated during expansion of an air bag 6. An engaging part 8A on the reaction can side is arranged at the reaction can 8, and an engaging part 5 on the instrument side is arranged at the approximate horizontal part 2B of the instrument panel 2. The reaction can 8 is fixed thereabove at the instrument panel 2 with an engaging part 8A engaged with the engaging part 5 on the instrument panel side and fixed therebelow at a deck cross member 1 and movement in the vertical direction of the reaction can 8 is regulated. |
