The equipment includes a memory in which a program for controlling a microprocessor is stored. A two-dimensional graphic containing a whole image displayed on a monitor is read into the microprocessor via an interface. At least one marking point is defined in the whole image based on parameters entered via a keyboard or mouse. A marking point is defined in an image section stored in the memory and applied to the whole image by replacing pixels which are covered by the image section. The new whole image is printed out.
