The particulate material is a fibre material, powder containing aluminium oxide, carbon silicide or sand. The fibre material is of Twaron (RTM), aramide or Kevlar (RTM) and the adhesive material is polyurethane. The dock leveller (1) is driven by a hydraulic cylinder and provides a straightforward access between a freight vehicle (2) parked against the dock and the loading floor (9) of the shed.
