The panel may be used in a fence or door. The internal lateral dimensions of the horizontal bar members (3,4) have a rectangular dimension (a) which gives a small play with the vertical bar members. The rectangular cut-outs (17), with the lateral dimension taking up the full back section inner width (a), match the rectangular cross-section of the vertical members (1,2) with a small play. The vertical members are fixed against tilting in the U-profiled channel at both leg sections (16) of the U-profile.
