PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet having excellent glossiness, and excellent ink jet recording suitability such as excellent printing density and recording image quality. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet comprising a cast coating layer provided on a base material, the coating layer contains silica fine particles having mean particle size of primary particles of 3 to 40 nm and mean particle size of secondary particles of 10 to 400 nm. And, the sheet also comprises at least one primary coating layer containing pigment and adhesive, and a cast coating layer provided on the primary coating layer. |
