PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer substrate and a method for manufacturing it for easily dividing a multi-layer substrate into plural parts even when a core layer is made of strong and hardly breakable materials obtained by fixing a cloth woven with glass fibers as a core with epoxy resin or the like. SOLUTION: At the time of dividing a multi-layer substrate 21 at a prescribed division position, the multi-layer substrate 21 is constituted so that intermittently formed perforation-shaped holes 26 or slit-shaped holes can be formed at the division position of a core layer 23, and a V-cut V groove 25 can be formed at the division position of a surface layer 22. At the time of dividing the multi- layer substrate 21 at the prescribed position, the multi-layer substrate 21 is constituted so that the intermittently formed first holes (perforation holes, slit holes, and holes with long intervals) can be formed at the division position of the core layer, second holes (perforation holes or slit holes) intermittently formed so as to be put through the multi-layer substrate can be formed at the division position of the surface layer, and the second holes can be positioned between the first holes, and the first holes can be connected with the second holes. |
