<p>The method allows exact positioning of objects, for example tracks, for the purpose of their separation at standard lengths. The apparatus consists of a conveyor (3), with a measuring roller wheel (2) situated above it with the first control sensor (4) and second control sensor (5), and of a laser meter (7), located on the longitudinal axis of the conveyor (3).
