<p>The fixing head consists of an axial tubular body and a ring with its lengthwise axis lying perpendicular to the body, and a base (2a). The tubular body is in the form of a one-piece cylinder extended by two curved wings making a split ring (4b). The straight and parallel edges of the ring are joined together by a weld seam (13) located diametrically opposite the tubular body. The fixing is made from a flat metal strip with a central hole punched to form the tubular body, in which a thread is cut, and the sides rolled to make the curved wings, joined by the weld. It is completed by welding the tubular body to a circular metal base.</p> |
