PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selectively permeable film which has a low oxygen permeability, has a high carbon dioxide permeability in comparison with the oxygen permeability, and exhibits a carbon dioxide permeability in a certain range even in a low-humidity atmosphere. SOLUTION: This film is prepd. from a compsn. which comprises 50-98 wt.% saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A) having an ethylene unit content of 20-50 mol.% and a degree of saponification of vinyl acetate units of 96 mol.% or higher, 0-45 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol (B) having a degree of saponification of 60-95 mol.%, and at least one compd. (C) having an average mol.wt. of 4,000 or lower, selected from among monomers, oligomers, and polymers of alkylene glycols and hydroxy acids, and in an amt. of 0.1 wt.% or higher but not higher than the saturation solubility based on the sum of the contents of ingredients A and B. |
