The method involves planting rooted woody plants upright in the ground in rows and at regular intervals, and are connected together by side branches. The plants can be root ball plants with lush branches for interweaving with adjoining plants. The tips of the plants of one row are fixed on a horizontal tension cord (4). The plants can be aligned in an endless row or in two parallel rows so that they are opposite each other in pairs to form arches with their tips.
