PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-cable connecting part, wherein the effect to the electric-field relaxation capability of the elastomer stress cone for grease present between the members of a power-cable connecting part and an insulating pipe is suppressed and the movement of oil, filling agent and the like between the members is suppressed. SOLUTION: This power-cable-conductor connecting part comprises an insulating pipe 9 provided on the connecting part and an elastomer stress cone 6 mounted on the end of the cable. The elastomer stress cone 6 is attached to the opening part of the insulating pipe 9 in close contact. In this case, a metal oxide glass film is formed at the inner surface of the elastomer stress cone 6 in contact with at least a cable insulating layer 4.
