PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of stably maintaining hydrogen peroxide also in a high pH region, capable of exhibiting an excellent bleaching effect and useful for clothes, etc., by including hydrogen peroxide and a specific aromatic compound. SOLUTION: This liquid oxygen-based bleaching agent composition comprises (A) hydrogen peroxide and (B) an aromatic compound of the formula [R is H, a 1-12C alkyl, an alkenyl; (n) is 1-6], such as hydroquinone, methoxyphenol or dimethoxyphenol. For example, the agent comprises 0.1-30 wt.% of the component A, 0.01-10 wt.% of the component B and preferably further (C) about 1-40 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant. |
