PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a main cable for a building which requires no temporary power supply cable for construction. SOLUTION: Connectors 5A, 5B are fixed to both ends of a main cable 3 of a unit length equivalent to that for one story of a building to prepare a main cable unit 1 with a branch cable 7 connected on one end. This main cable unit 1 is extended up to the next upper story by coupling the connectors 5A, 5B as the construction of a building progresses. During the construction of the building, a branch cable 7 is connected to a temporary distribution board 13 provided for the construction on each story and the connected body of the main cable units 1 is used as a temporary power supply cable for the construction. After the finish of the construction using a temporary power supply, the branch cable 7 is connected to a regular distribution board and the connected body of the main cable units 1 is used as the main cable for the building. |
