This new plant divides fibrous particles (3) of differing sizes into fractions. The particles are especially ligno-cellulose- and/or cellulose-containing fibres or cuttings. The storage bunker (1) includes a feeder (8) delivering onto the screening unit (19). In the new plant, near the surface of the screen, a conveyor (10) includes separate, moving portioning sections (17). The material delivered, is moved over the surface of the screen (19), sliding it across.
