The present invention relates to a method for enablement in a wireless LAN system and to a wireless LAN communication device using same. The method comprises: a step of receiving, from an AP, information which indicates whether or not an authorized user exists on a channel adjacent to an operating channel of a wireless network; and a step of requesting enablement from the AP by adjusting signal transmission power according to the information received from the AP.
