PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the network system in which whether or not devices having originals not in use are confirmed based on a set state and utilizing state of originals and devices with their own originals set to them are confirmed so as to relieve the load of the user. SOLUTION: An OA equipment connecting to a network is retrieved by a scanner retrieval instruction (S11). When there are devices not checked, an original set state is inquired of the devices (S15). In the case that no original is set, the processing returns to the S11, and in the case that the original is set, a utilizing state is inquired of the devices (S16). Device information and its utilizing state are stored (S17). On the other hand, when there are no device not checked yet, devices whose original is set and which are not in use are searched from the stored information (S12). When there is no device corresponding to them, an error message is transmitted to the user (S14), and when the concerned devices are in existence, the information of the searched devices is delivered to the user (S13). |
