PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene resin foam that has beautiful appearance, high closed cell percentage and a low density, and to provide a production process therefor. SOLUTION: This modified polypropylene resin foam is produced by melt- kneading (A) a polypropylene resin, (B) at least one olefin copolymer selected from an olefinic elastomer and an olefinic ionic copolymer, (C) at least one polymerizable monomer selected from isoprene, 1,3-butadiene and an aromatic vinyl monomer and (D) a radical polymerization initiator and extrusion-foaming the resultant modified polypropylene resin composition. |
