PRESERVATION OF CULTURED MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve a cultured mold over a long period until the optimum season for the fertilization of a plant without causing the extermination of the microbial cell by culturing a mold on a solid medium and keeping the cultured product at a specific water content. SOLUTION: One or more kinds of molds selected from the genus Trichoderma, Penicillium and Chaetomium are subjected to solid culture using a medium component composed of an organic soil conditioner and/or an inorganic soil conditioner and the obtained culture product is maintained at a water-content of 10-40wt.% and stored preferably in a container having gas- permeability.
