PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which maintain light resistance at a high level even when the medium is conserved under server environments such as high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium is of the heat mode type having a recording layer capable of recording information by irradiation with a laser beam formed on a base and a light reflecting layer formed on the recording layer. The recording layer contains a cyanine coloring matter compound expressed by formula:[DYE<+> ]n X (DYE<+> is a monovalent cyanine coloring matter cation; n is an integer of 2 or more; and X is a polyvalent anion) and a chemical compound expressed by formula (Al)[in the formula, R11, R12 are independently hydrocarbon groups] or expressed by formula (A2).
