PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a postal card having a low density and excellent in rigidity and smoothness by respectively specifying the content of anα-cellulose in cane pulp contained and that of 200 mesh-passable fine materials. SOLUTION: In this postal card, the content of anα-cellulose in the cane pulp contained is regulated to 80-90wt.% and that of 200 mesh-passable fine materials to <=10wt.%., and the containing weight ratio of cane pulp to wood pulp to (2/8) to (9/1). Operability in supplying the postal card or traveling property in an operating machine is excellent and printing property of the postal card is also excellent, and further, requirement to protect wood resources is satisfied.
