Closure for membrane filter housing

The housing contg. membrane filters is closed by a plug (6) which is inserted in the end of the tubular housing and has at least one inlet channel (7) and at least one outlet channel (8), both running transverse to the longitudinal axis of the stopper, their ends being sealable by blanking plugs. At least one connecting channel (18) extends from the inside face (17) of the stopper each of the inlet and outlet channels. The stopper is retained by a clip which can be attached to the housing and engages a side groove (16) on the end plug.
